Christian & Laura Laguna Beach Wedding

What started off as a rainy day, the clouds parted and made room for clear skies over the wedding of Christian and Laura at Heisler Park in Laguna Beach. Friends and family gathered around the couple as they exchanged vows accompanied by crashing waves and a warm ocean breeze. “Cliff” the couples dog was the only “official wedding attendant.” The intimate ceremony was followed by a reception at a private Italian restaurant. The shot above of the huntington beach pier was done with my new “lensbabies.” I love the “yaw’ effect it has, like the tits on a 4×5 camera. This was the view from Laura’s Hotel room. The Groom, Christian, is an awesome photographer, check out his work at: http://www.christiankiely.com/index.htmlThis siluttete shots of the guests was taken right before the ceremony with the LensBabies.“Cliff” the Ringbearer!Classic Laguna Surfer.

Pasadena Wedding and A classic car for icing on the cake

Peter and Patil were married in Pasadena, with reception to follow in Glendale. To transport them to the reception- they hired a classic car- my favorite part of the day. Just me, the chauffeur and the couple, documenting that magical moment of just being married.

13.5 hours married, celebrating in the pacific ocean- sunrise- with a broken foot

me: “How’s Your Ankle?” “Broken, Sprained?!”

Bride: “Oh Yes, i found out today I broke my foot on the dance floor at the reception. Confirmed with X Rays”

me: “You are my hero.”

Bride ” Sacrifices must be made to get the shot!”

They showed up at 6:30 am the next morning, broken foot and all.  Matt carried her piggyback down to the beach, and around the beach, then back up the stairs, to their hotel #marriedlife.
