Polaroid type 55 test | expired 05/2001!

In spring cleaning the studio, I found a long lost friend, and an expired one at that.  Type 55 Polaroid, a beautiful positive and negative 4×5 black and white film.  In 2008 polaroid ceased production on the film.  With the recent Kickstarter Campaign of Bob Crowley and the New 55 project, it might be coming back.

This is a test of one sheet of film, using the 8 x 10 Calumet (another loss!) C1 camera and 4×5 reducing back.  The film expired in May 2001, and has been stored in a cool dry place.

How to Plan a Surprise Proposal

Matt’s proposal to Rachel Featured in How They Asked by The Knot. Matt informed Rachel that his “Crazy Aunt”  was coming into town and he wanted them to meet.  Under the guise of dinner at a fancy place, Rachel dressed up.  This spot is very special to them ( one of their first dates).  He brought a bottle of wine and said he wanted to visit the spot before dinner to take the edge off before meeting Crazy Aunt!
