This is the way we like it for family shoot. No combing of the hair, no fixing of clothes, just having fun, together as a family. Genuine smiles, laughter, and chaos. Letting kids be kids, eyes closed, not looking at the camera, perfectly imperfect.

Family photos at Happy Camp. This was a great shoot, just letting loose, having fun and – may fave- getting shots in between the shots. Those fun, organic, takes in between poses, smiles etc, were eyes closed and laughter happens, a fun place, after all we were at Happy Camp. Jenny and Erik got engaged up In San Lois Obispo, so it was fitting to photograph their engagement shoot at the Over the top Madonna Inn. Mixed with some Old Hollywood black and white Glam, with some straight on flash with the ring light color to capture the Madonna Inn in all it’s glory.
“Your dress already gets so dirty from the ground and the train dragging behind you, and the dirty dance floor, taking a little dip is not going to damage the dress anymore than it already is.
