We had fun with confetti and a can of gold spray paint to celebrate Maddy turning 7 on the 7th for her month long birthday celebration. There is still confetti everywhere. Maddy’s favorite movie is the Greatest Showman so we had fun with a top hat and the red velvet curtains for the set.
Part two of Pamela and Alan’s engagement session. We took the train up to Santa Barbara from Orange County, (see post here). Then headed over to the Santa Barbara Zoo for some engagement photos. The zoo is a beautiful location. It sits very close to the ocean.

Part one of the “engagement Getaway” photo shoot for Pamela and Alan. We boarded the Amtrak Surfliner at the Artic Station in Anaheim, destination downtown Santa Barbara. The second set of images taken at the Santa Barbara Zoo with be the next post on the blog, stay tuned.
In the studio with Angela for her formal bridal portrait, and because she wore two wedding dresses, we photographed her with two different film types: 8 x 10 polaroid and 4×5 black and white. At her wedding, she wore traditional white, and a traditional, Cheongsam with dragon & phoenix design. New 55 film produces both a positive print, and a negative for scanning and printing.
