Located in Laguna Canyon, 7 degrees is a modern elegant wedding venue in Laguna Beach. The rooftop Terrace provides a beautiful outdoor backdrop for the ceremony and cocktail hour. After shooting close to 3000 images, this was the exact images I was looking for to tell the story of the wedding. A large Ball thrown on New Years Eve. Taken seconds before midnight, from the balcony at Vibiana, undetected by the couple.
What do do for your family photographs? Get Messy and Imperfect. A photo shoot in the high desert with an awesome family. Thank you Robynn, Scott, and the whole Brady Bunch for agreeing with this vision, getting in the dirt, and going for it. As a photographer , It’s really important to me that photo shoot should be a fun experience for you. so when you look at the photographs, you remember what a fun time it was with your family. Do […]
The wedding of Courtney and Jacob at the Monarch Beach ( formerly St. Regis) Resort.
This was the final shot of the night, which ended up being my favorite of the entire event. I love nostalgia, and this one feels like a 50’s early 60’s photograph. A fun filled moment for the couple, well into their wedding reception.
After meeting at an 80’s party, he was in a Don Johnson Miami Vice shirt, she, a mini skirt and some neon, 80’s theme it was for the engagement session! With a soundtrack of Hungry Eyes, Hit Me With Your Best Shot, and Footloose, to name a few, we had the perfect 80’s vibe in the studio to create some fun non generic engagement photos. Plastic Fantastic: Shooting some cinestill film with a Holga, a plastic camera, was a must, since […]
“We were thinking of black and white dramatic pictures with high contrast, in the studio and around Orange circle. Coming back full circle from our engagement photos.” – Nat and Avo. My ideal shoot- studio and black and white.
The above image is Nat and Avo on their wedding day. Just seconds before we were having fun in the photo booth, I then asked them to show how they really felt ( as they were about 12 hours into the event at that point) and this is what they gave me. It hangs in our studio wall as one of my favorite wedding images ever taken.
Erica and Matt were married at the beautiful Casa Romatica, located in San Clemente. Some early morning showers brought some amazing clouds- as October always does. The couple decided to forgo a bridal party ( wise choice) Erica wanted her “bride tribe” to have no obligations, but to come and enjoy the party. AaaaaaMAZING pics! We couldn’t be happier with the way these came out! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! – Erica and Matt Casa Romantica Iva […]
We photographed a classic black and white for the dressy look, and color for the casual. After the fun classic shoot, the family changed in our private wardrobe room and we did another look on our exposed brick set! They chose great tones, and fun colors.
