SAN FRANCISCO, CA… San Francisco City Hall wedding Photography 35 mm film on Leica with ilford xp2 black and white and Kodak Portra And of course my Fujifilm camera! This venue books up quickly, took a while for this couple to book their October 31st nuptials ( Halloween my fave!)
Quite a few couples choose this location, so you need to be patient with other newlyweds and their photogs while choosing the backdrops and locations to shoot.
For ceremonies ( click here for options), they only allow up to 6 guests ( photographers included). The couple had more than that, so they opted for a quick, “I Do” ” IDo” raise your right hand, STAMP. You’re married. Now photographers are allowed in the civil ceremony room so I got what I could outside the room.
The couple was then greeted by family and friends in the main part of the hall with hugs, kisses, tears and congrats!.
The reception was in Little Italy at Original Joes. Private room with tufted forest green vinyl ( SEXY!) and the original Joes sign. (The pasta marinara was delish!) Tom is a talented photog and video creator, and brought a polaroid ( mandalorian edition) plus modified 35mm disposable cameras for reception fun ( the flashes on the cameras were colored with different Kraft markers and cut for some special effects)
