They were married in a theater in the round ceremony in the evening. We did a first look to take advantage of shooting with natural light in this historic venue. This was fantatsic, we were able to capture the romantics, the family portraits, and the bridal party, so after the wedding the couple were free to join the celebration at the cocktail hour ( which had a magnificent view of downtown).
The couple were engaged at LACMA in the Urban light ( in which I shot the surprise proposal on film!), so they recreated the scene and imported vintage lampposts which were surrounded by candles.
