I shot this series on film at sunrise in Frenso on the Blossom Trail Route. The scent from the almond blooms was worth the trip alone, and also waking up before the sun at 2:00 a.m. The petals look like snow on the trees and ground, and quite beautiful when they fall to the ground. Also stumbled upon the twig house belonging to one of the three pigs, no sighting of the wolf.The spots and imperfections you see are the results of stand developing the film in the darkroom, and dust spots on the negative.

The theme is a 1930’s Classic Hollywood Nightclub. It took place in a 100 year old theater and the shoot was designed around the theater’s details.
