Big Fish, Popcorn, and The Paparraza

They say, “When you meet the love of your life, time stands still.”  – from the movie Big Fish. Caleb thought this way when he saw Ashley for the first time, he said your like popcorn- or something to that effect- so popcorn theme it was for the engagement session.  With 5 bags of popcorn, the fashion fan, and an assistant on a Iadder, we created this image. I love my couples- willing to be different and play in photos.

Some fun casualness.  Have I told you how much I LOVE the studio? I LOVE THE STUDIO.  Controlled lighting, a private wardobe  for you to change, the fashion fan, and lots of techno music.

Some fun Paparrazi style!

Pasadena Wedding and A classic car for icing on the cake

Peter and Patil were married in Pasadena, with reception to follow in Glendale. To transport them to the reception- they hired a classic car- my favorite part of the day. Just me, the chauffeur and the couple, documenting that magical moment of just being married.

13.5 hours married, celebrating in the pacific ocean- sunrise- with a broken foot

me: “How’s Your Ankle?” “Broken, Sprained?!”

Bride: “Oh Yes, i found out today I broke my foot on the dance floor at the reception. Confirmed with X Rays”

me: “You are my hero.”

Bride ” Sacrifices must be made to get the shot!”

They showed up at 6:30 am the next morning, broken foot and all.  Matt carried her piggyback down to the beach, and around the beach, then back up the stairs, to their hotel #marriedlife.
