( I’m really here for the Ocotillos)
Anza Borrego Desert Park is breathtakingly beautiful. About 3 hours from Orange County. There is a fantastic hike called ” The Slot” accessible via dirt road no four-wheeler required.
Traveled there in late January and the wildflowers were already starting to bloom. Film pictures shot with the Hasselblad Camera.
The Flowers are beautiful, but I find the Ocotillos, have stolen my heart.
Hiking The Slot
Look for the small sign on the road, I missed it and drove right past.
The dirt road is mild two wheel drive is just fine. Once parked look for this trail sign:
Once your out of the slot, down a little ways you will find the wind caves.
Anza is beautiful. You must go. The visitors center is very friendly. Borrego Springs is a cute town with restaurants.

From the Designer Libby Martin “The cake and the moon were designed especially for this Shoot. Some of the items are actual pieces from the 20’s and 30’s. The theme is a 1930’s Classic Hollywood Nightclub. It took place in a 100 year old theater and the shoot was designed around the theater’s details.
