I fell in Love with Australia.
I was lucky enough to document a wedding full of love, and able to do a bit of sight seeing too.
The Russel Hotel is a small boutique hotel in the historic Rocks located in Circular Quay. There is a small winding hallway, and if you get thirsty, there is a classy pub on the first level.
You can see the Opera house, and it’s a nice walk along the waters edge to it. If you can, get tickets, inside is lovely. Grab a glass of wine and look out the glass at the Harbor.

Bondi Iceberg Pool
Took a dip in the chilly Bondi Beach Icebergs. the pool us open to the public, and the ocean crashes and spills into the pool.
From Bondi hiked a three hour route along the coast- stunning.
Was able to take the train from Circular Quay to central Sydney, then hop aboard an express train the the Blue Mountains- various hiking trails there., and the famous three sisters.
Hired a car, and after getting lots in Sydney for an hour, finally made it to Jervis Bay. B & B by the beach is a modern bed and breakfast, right on the basin. The water is crystal clear, and a kangaroo hoped along at sunrise when I i was playing with the drone.
Hyams beach has the whitest sand acoording to the Geunis book of world records. Stunningly beautiful.
About 10 minutes away is the Bleiheim beach, where the trees come tight up to the beach.
Flew Virgin Australia direct from LAX about 15 ish hours. Direct flights are the way to go. That 30 hour train ride from Portland really prepped me.
Drop me an email if you have any questions, and GO TO AUSTRALIA.
