An intimate wedding as the sun rose over Washington DC, the bride and groom spoke their vows, just the two of them, no officiant, because in DC you can self unite ; marry yourselves. It was the couple, & Me, and some early joggers. So honored and lucky to witness and photograph this intimate wedding of two awesome people. During the wedding consultation, I found out these two professional musicians met in college, in music class, so photographing them in the studio with their instruments it was for the engagement session! Shot using the Hasselblad with both cinestill color and Ilford black and white film. I like to find out about my couples- how they met, what they enjoy in life, to create something that is unique to them.
Fun family photoshoot in the family backyard. Mom owns Enviorments by Miko, creative design with interior plants. So it was quite fitting to have the boys involved and playing with the soil! Mix that with water and we had quite the fun. Dad’s loving this shoot. 😛

We had fun with confetti and a can of gold spray paint to celebrate Maddy turning 7 on the 7th for her month long birthday celebration. There is still confetti everywhere. Maddy’s favorite movie is the Greatest Showman so we had fun with a top hat and the red velvet curtains for the set.
