Film for the film makers. Lauren & Kade were looking for 35mm film film for their wedding at the Hacienda. Lauren wore white gloves for a touch of hollywood glam, and treated guests to an outdoor movie theater showing Casablanca, with Popcorn!
LOS ANGELES, CA… Storybook Wedding Chapel, followed by a goth shoot and Party at Cliftons Republic. A blend of 35mm film and fujifilm digital- the benefits of nostalgic film grain, with journalism make the perfect combo. Add on film to your shoot.
ORANGE, CA… Black and white 35mm film for this engagement shoot in the studio, well technically they are married ( Vegas) and throwing another wedding ceremony and celebration this summer.
Both filmmakers (Lauren & Kade met in film school), they were looking for a 35mm film engagement photographer ( lucky me!) Their creative A game was on point with wardrobe and energy on set,
Shot some color kodak cinema film- that’s up in part 2.
Last Year was my first time at Ink N Iron, and I had the pleasure of photographing the Most Talented Artists for the Sullen Art Collective ( which got me a top 10 spot in the Hasselblad Masters!) This year was Self Assignment, 35 mm, xp2 film, 16-35 and the Fabulous 50mm. I don’t shoot just for me very often, and was inspired by APA LA “Off The Clock” competition, featuring photogs in their “off hours”.
