Inspired by Faye Dunaway’s Iconic “Breakfast” image by Terry O’Neil in 1977, which, after winning her Oscar the night before, pictures her early morning poolside at the Beverly Hills Hotel . I set out to recreate with my bride Pamela, poolside, the morning after her wedding. Shot on 120 Film with the Hasselblad, at sunrise, she showed up in full makeup, her wedding dress, and a smile. At the Amon Carter museum, I picked up a book in the gift shop and instantly fell in love. Killgore Rangettes by O. Rufus Lovett. Photographed on the film in the 90’s, square format.
