At the Amon Carter museum, I picked up a book in the gift shop and instantly fell in love. Killgore Rangettes by O. Rufus Lovett. Photographed on the film in the 90’s, square format. I had to have it, overtaken by the former Cheerleader in me- go Artists. This shoot was inspired by that series, photographed on film in the studio with the Hasselblad- Damn I love Square.
After photographing a corporate holiday Party at the Surf and Sand Laguna Beach, we decided to have the studio xmas party just down the street on Coast Highway, at Jack In The Box. Unfortunately, no wine was on the menu, So I settled for a Seagrams Ginger Ale. Happy Holidays Everyone.

I shot this couples wedding when they just started their family of two and now it has grown to 5. Such an honor and pleasure. The approach was a very casual one, at their home in Oceanside. The pool was in the front along with toys around the lawn. I loved to Toy area in the house and wanted that as a backdrop and Maddie says “of course that is the only place I didn’t clean”= PERFECT.
While shooting their family portraits in their home, I saw the side project in the garage, a Kawasaki that has been the Dad’s dream project he was working on with his son.
